Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of motivation, inovation and job satisfaction on the performance of teachers. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Karanggeneng . Respondents in this study were divided into two groups, teachers and students grade IX. To measure motivation and job satisfaction, respondents used are the teachers. While respondents to measure the performance of teachers is students grade IX. Total population of teachers in this research is 80 people, while the number of students at grade IX is 315. Sampling method used was convenience sampling. Each number of teachers and students grade IX that made sampled as many as 60 people. Data obtained using a questionnaire that gives a list of questions directly to respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression which is operated through the SPSS 17 in the 5 percent level of significance. The research result shows on the F test (simultaneous) that motivation and job satisfaction significantly influence the performance of teachers with value of sig F 0,000 < 0.05 and value of calculated F 15.921. T test results (partial) indicates that motivation significantly influence the performance of teachers with value of sig t 0.000 < 0.05 and value of calculated t 5004, and job satisfaction significantly influence the performance of teachers with sig t 0.006 < 0.05 and value of calculated t 2.876. So, it can be concluded that the motivation and job satisfaction influence the performance of teachers, both simultaneously and partial.
