Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dan membuktikan pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan luar negri direksi terhadap Financial Distress melalui pada perusahaan properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2017-2021. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder, dan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan maka didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 8 perusahaan selama periode 2017-2021. Uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan, uji t, dan uji R^2 dengan alat analisis SPSS versi 25. Hasil dari penelitian ini yang diperoleh adalah platar belakang pendidikan luar negri direksi secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, direksi wanita secara parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress. Latar belakang pendidikan luar negri direksi dan direksi wanita secara simultan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Financial Distress.
