Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah pada SDN Guslah III Kecamatan Puspo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 139 orang yaitu guru dan siswa SDN Palangsari III dan SDN Janjangwulung I. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi profesional guru berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah dengan hubungan sebesar 9%; (2) kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah sebesar 10%; dan (3) hubungan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap mutu sekolah adalah sebesar 1,7%.
